Isanga Bay Lodge is situated on the shores of the vast Lake Tanganyika on Zambia's northern most border. The spectacular Kalambo Falls, the second highest in Africa, are nearby and make a popular hike. Lying 18 km along the Lake coast, north of the town of Mpulungu, access is by boat, which takes about 30 minutes. This is a place to relax and enjoy the spectacular views over this huge ocean-like Lake, while you savour the delights of the calm waters, swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, fishing, water skiing and more. In front of the lodge is an expansive white beach shaded with palm trees overlooking the bay. We offer personalised, friendly hospitality at this off the beaten track gem in the heart of remote Africa. NB:There are no power points, however, we do have a facility to charge phones, lap tops, cameras, tc. We have no TV as we are deep in the bush and besides, you won't need one!
